What it does

DeePopMax is Dotec-Audio's "maximizer optimized for CD and digital distribution." It is built for modern pop that will be heard on phones and computers at low volume: as you push its main control, it raises loudness and automatically rebalances the frequency ranges.

The current version is 1.0.7 (13 January 2026). The free demo is fully featured but inserts one second of silence every 30 seconds.

When to use it

DeePopMax suits quick pop and electronic masters that need to sound full on phones and laptops, when you'd rather turn one control than set up a limiter. Compared with Pro-L 2 or L2 Ultramaximizer, it changes the tonal balance as well as the level, and it offers no attack, release, lookahead or limiting styles. Unlike Ozone 12 Maximizer or Elevate, it has no visible multiband settings to adjust; the per-range balance is automatic. Its MONITOR function covers the level-matched listening that Pro-L 2 handles with Unity Gain, but it has no loudness or true peak metering, so check targets with a separate meter.
