What it does
DeeMaximizer is Dotec-Audio's "flagship maximizer for natural and powerful loudness." It splits the signal into 32 bands and balances them automatically, so you get multiband loudness without setting up each band.
- 32 bands: the multiband engine aims to raise loudness while keeping the tonal balance and musicality, with no per-band tweaking needed.
- Central dial: basic operation is one large dial for the amount of maximizing.
- Detailed parameters: further controls are there for shaping the sound when the main dial is not enough.
- M/S switch: switches the input to mid/side processing.
- SOFTCLIP: an output stage that gives a smoother character.
- SAFE: added in version 1.1.0; favours low distortion over maximum loudness.
- Zero latency: usable while producing and mixing, not only at the mastering stage.
The current version is 1.4.1 (13 January 2026; first released October 2021). The free demo inserts one second of silence every 30 seconds.

When to use it
DeeMaximizer is for producers who want loud, balanced results from one dial and who want to hear that loudness while they work. Compared with Pro-L 2 and the Ozone 12 Maximizer, it is multiband rather than broadband and runs at zero latency, but it has no choice of limiting styles and no loudness metering listed. It is closer in idea to Elevate, which also splits the signal into many bands, yet DeeMaximizer sets its bands automatically and is far simpler to drive. Within Dotec-Audio's range, it is the flagship of the Max series of maximizers.
- Best for: quick loud masters, loudness previews on the mix bus while producing, and demos that need to compete with released tracks.
- Genres: EDM, pop, hip-hop, rock and other loud modern styles.
- Look elsewhere if: you need true peak control and loudness meters for delivery (Pro-L 2) or hands-on band shaping and visual feedback (Elevate).
