DeeChannelTool combines solo and phase invert, mid/side balance and two analog console simulators, TYPE-A (clear, stereo) and TYPE-N (punchy).

What it does
DeeChannelTool is a small "channel tool & console simulator" from Dotec-Audio. It puts the monitoring switches you reach for while mixing and mastering next to two analog console flavours that add drive.
- Solo: solo the channel for monitoring while you mix or master.
- Phase invert: flip the polarity to check phase against other tracks.
- M/S balance: shift the balance between the mid and side signal to narrow or widen the image.
- TYPE-A console: an analog console simulation the developer describes as clear, with a more open stereo feel.
- TYPE-N console: a second console simulation voiced for a punchier sound.
The current version is 1.0.5 (13 January 2026). The free demo inserts one second of silence every 30 seconds.

When to use it
DeeChannelTool is the lighter pick when you want console drive and quick monitoring switches on many tracks, not a full channel strip. Compared with bx_console SSL 4000 E or SSL Native Channel Strip 2, it has no EQ, filters or dynamics, so there is far less to set up. Unlike Scheps Omni Channel, it does not try to cover a whole channel's processing; its job is two console tones, M/S balance, solo and polarity. It costs less than any of those strips, but it also gives you fewer ways to shape the console sound.
- Best for: adding a touch of console colour across a mix, and quick phase or M/S checks while mixing and mastering.
- Genres: any style.
- Look elsewhere if: you want EQ and compression in the same strip; bx_console SSL 4000 E or SSL Native Channel Strip 2 cover that.
