DeeACID by Dotec-Audio

DeeACID is a monophonic acid bass synth for acid techno, with a ladder low-pass filter, detune, sub-oscillator, drive and a phrase generator.

Generated phrases can be dragged into a DAW MIDI track, and it costs $50.

Best for: Bass, Keys & Synths. Genres: Electronic & EDM.

Keywords: basses, AUv3/iOS, analog, classic, hardware emulation, 80s, 90s, aggressive, fat, harsh, monophonic, resizable UI, subtractive, thick, vintage, visual feedback.

What it does

DeeACID is a bass synth built for one job, acid techno. The developer aimed to make it "thicker and easier to handle" than a typical acid bass, so overdrive levels are adjusted automatically and the controls are kept to the essentials.

The current version is 2.1.0 (11 May 2026). The free demo inserts one second of silence every 30 seconds.

When to use it

DeeACID is the quicker route to an acid line: load it, let the phrase generator suggest patterns, and drag the best one into the DAW. Compared with Serum 2, Vital or Diva it is far narrower, with no wavetables, modulation matrix or polyphonic patches, but you don't have to build a 303-style patch from scratch. It is also less of a faithful TB-303 clone than dedicated emulations; iOS users on the Loopy Pro forum found it has less functionality and a less authentic 303 character than PureAcid. In price it sits between free acid synths and full commercial instruments.

What producers say

There are few reviews; iOS users on the Loopy Pro forum found it fun and fast but less deep than dedicated 303 clones.
