What it does
Limitless is DMG Audio's mastering limiter. It uses a six-band, linear-phase crossover and two limiting stages so that dynamics and transients can be handled separately.
- Multiband limiting: 6-band linear-phase crossover with an iterative solver.
- Peak control: inter-sample peak suppression and 64x oversampling.
- Metering: built-in EBU R-128 loudness metering, spectrum analyser, time plot and loudness history.
- Controls: simple and advanced modes, resizable interface and 8 A/B preset banks.

When to use it
Limitless suits mastering engineers who want more control than a single-band maximiser gives. Compared with a straightforward limiter like FabFilter Pro-L 2, the multiband structure lets you shape how different frequency regions are pushed when chasing loudness.
- Best for: loudness-targeted mastering, where the built-in R-128 metering saves switching to a separate meter.
- Look elsewhere if: you only need a simple final ceiling on a mix bus; the advanced page has many controls.
