Perfect Room 2 by denise

A reverb built on Denise's Dynamic Room Response engine, which simulates an idealized room instead of using delay lines or impulse responses, for clean ambience that doesn't color the source.

Version 2 adds zero-latency processing, attack and reverse controls, tempo sync, a ducker, Halo spectral decay and a 5-band EQ.

Best for: Vocals, Acoustic Instruments, Drums, Mix Bus, Mastering. Genres: all genres.

Keywords: room, transparent, low latency, tempo-synced, ambience, drums, ducking, full mix, vocals, zero-latency, clean, reverse, mono-compatible, piano, simple, spacious, acoustic guitar, bright, bus processing, dark, high latency, mastering, mix bus, mixing, non-linear, spectral, wide.

What it does

Perfect Room 2 ("Immaculate Reflections") is Denise Audio's transparent reverb. Its Dynamic Room Response engine starts from a mathematically ideal acoustic simulation, so Denise says there are no resonances, harsh reflections or shifts in density, "just your sound, extended in time."

It was on sale when checked, with an upgrade price for Perfect Room 1 owners and a trial that outputs 5 seconds of silence every 60 seconds.

When to use it

Perfect Room 2 has one engine designed to add space without coloring the sound, where Valhalla Room offers many room and hall algorithms with their own character, Altiverb 8 gives real captured spaces via convolution, and Neoverb leans on assistive, mix-aware setup. Pick Perfect Room 2 when you want clean, believable ambience you can put on a full mix or master, or creative reversed and tempo-synced tails, without choosing between models.

What producers say

Reviewers describe it as natural and transparent, with a simple control set that some see as a strength and others as a limit.
