Spacerek is D16 Group's virtual space reverb, with 114 models of real spaces such as halls, chambers, booths, tunnels, chapels and towers.
A hybrid algorithm pairs space simulation for early reflections with a delay network for tails, keeping CPU use low, and a three-channel mixer balances dry, early and late signals.
Best for: Vocals, Drums, Acoustic Instruments, Guitars. Genres: all genres.
Keywords: hall, chamber, drums, vocals, room, clean, CPU-light, gentle, mid/side, MIDI-controllable, mixing, resizable UI.
What it does
Spacerek is "The Virtual Space Reverb": it simulates physical spaces with different microphone and speaker setups, then adds a delay-network tail.
- 114 reverb models: spaces including halls, chambers, booths, tunnels, chapels and towers, with multiple mic and speaker configurations.
- Hybrid algorithm: virtual space simulation combined with a dynamic delay network for realistic tails at low CPU cost.
- Early and late control: independent pre-delays for early and late reflections, up to 1 second.
- Three-channel mixer: levels and stereo positioning (L/R or mid-side) for direct, early and late signals.
- Tone: tilt EQ and a low-cut filter for the tail, plus MIDI Learn and multiple UI sizes with HiDPI support.
The current version is 1.2.3, at sample rates of 44.1 kHz and up.

When to use it
Spacerek is a realistic-space reverb like Valhalla Room and Audio Ease Altiverb 8, rather than a lush effect reverb like Valhalla Supermassive. Pick it for believable rooms and halls with independent early and late control at a low price; pick Altiverb 8 for convolution of specific famous spaces, or Supermassive for huge ambient washes.
- Best for: placing vocals, drums and acoustic instruments in natural rooms, halls and odd real-world spaces.
- Genres: general purpose.
- Look elsewhere if: you want dark, grimy or heavily modulated special-effect reverbs.
- Standout: 114 modeled spaces with separate early/late pre-delays and a three-channel mixer.
What producers say
Bedroom Producers Blog liked its realism and clean sound, with reservations about range.
- Bedroom Producers Blog (2020): scored it 88/100, saying "The modeled spaces are spot on" and it offers "Clean and gentle reverb."
- Gripe: the same review said "For grimy spaces, I'd have to throw some destructive processing on top."
