What it does
VoicEX 2 brings "AI processing for incredible noise suppression," built on CEDAR's neural network technology to separate human speech and vocals from everything else.
- Neural network: recognizes speech and vocals and separates them from noise and reverb.
- Two controls: one knob sets the loudness of the background, the other the loudness of the voice; lower the first to remove noise and reverb, or boost either part.
- Low latency: under 10ms, which CEDAR says makes it usable in live production, broadcast and real-time communication, unlike most AI denoisers.
- Efficiency: needs much less processing power than the original VoicEX and responds better as the signal-to-noise ratio gets worse.
