What it does
Zenbox is a deliberately simple rock amp plugin. Canvas Audio calls it a "balls-to-the-wall rock amplifier" that is responsive and expressive.
- Gain range: clean tones, near-breakup, mid-gain and full distortion.
- Built-in effects: drive, chorus and phaser.
- Interface: a stripped-down layout that favours a few controls over lots of parameters.

When to use it
A quick route to a rock or punk guitar tone without wading through amp and cab menus. Suits rock, punk and garage recordings. If you want deep amp, cab and effects modelling, the rated amp suites (Neural DSP Archetype, Guitar Rig, AmpliTube) offer far more options.
