When to use it

Toyphonic Micraliser is a novelty lo-fi effect. Compared with RC-20 Retro Color, Lofi Oddity and iZotope Vinyl, which give broader, more musical degradation, it does one thing: toy-mic and bad-speaker tone. Pick it for comic vocal effects or a telephone-toy texture for about a dollar.

What producers say

Coverage treats it as a joke, with some value for experimentation.
