DynaBit is a bitcrusher that keeps the dynamics of the incoming signal while reducing sample rate and bit depth, with a filter and beat-repeat section.
A modulation matrix with two LFOs, two sequencers, two envelope followers and MIDI control turns it from subtle grit into animated glitch effects.

What it does
DynaBit is Caelum Audio's dynamic bitcrusher for "rich, energetic and detailed bitcrushed textures," from gentle enrichment to glitchy mayhem.
- Filter: limit crushing to the whole signal or a band using low-pass, band-pass or high-pass modes with cutoff and resonance.
- Sample rate: reduce down to 10 Hz, with a Nyquist filter to cut aliasing and a smoothing control.
- Bits: crush down to 1 bit, with a range booster and an envelope that reshapes the output to follow the input dynamics.
- Beat Repeat: threshold-triggered repeats with time, number of repeats and decay controls.
- Modulation: 2 LFOs, 2 sequencers, 2 envelope followers and MIDI control, plus 50 presets in Basic, Drums, Glitch and Tonal folders.

When to use it
DynaBit adds dynamics preservation, band-limited crushing, beat repeat and a full modulation matrix to the clean, vintage-sampler style reduction of Decimort 2 and TAL-Bitcrusher and the simple building block of Kilohearts Bitcrush, so it overlaps more with CrushStation or Effectrix2 for movement. Pick it when you want crushed textures that still track the original transients.

- Look elsewhere if: you only need a basic bit and rate reducer; the simpler DynaBunny or free options cost less.
