When to use it

This is a specific pedal sound: high-gain metal distortion with plenty of EQ shaping. It is not a general distortion plugin like Saturn 2 or Trash from the rated list. Best in front of an amp sim for metal, hardcore and heavy rock guitars, and it can also thicken bass or synths. It is heavier than Brainworx's other free pedal, bx_yellowdrive, which covers milder overdrive.
