What it does
Chicago Upright 1927 is a sampled 48-inch Baldwin Monarch upright piano from 1927, recorded in a medium-sized living room. Boz describes it as dark and aged, with tubby low strings and a worn-in midrange.
- Mic positions: five stereo positions: Front Under, Behind Close, Behind Spaced, Front Over and Room.
- Master Keys: the piano loads in Boz's Master Keys plugin, with a 6-band parametric EQ, algorithmic reverb and channel mixing controls.
- Pro edition: all keys sampled with true release and resonance samples. A Lite version has one mic position and key stretching (every third key sampled).
