Bogren Digital cabinet impulse response plugin for loading and shaping guitar and bass cab IRs.

Best for: Guitars, Bass. Genres: Metal, Rock & Indie.

Keywords: impulse-response based, electric guitar, bass, AI/machine learning, mixing, repair, subtle.

What it does

IRDX Core is an insert effect that adds dynamic speaker behaviour to amp sims and IR loaders. It uses Bogren's machine-learning IRDX (Impulse Response Dynamix) technology.

Modes: Normal for subtle dynamics, Intense for a more pronounced effect.
Input calibration: automatic, to set the right level for the effect.
Where it goes: directly after an amp sim or IR loader, to restore the non-linear movement, 3D feel and compression of a real speaker that static IRs lack.
Details: version 1.0.301; 14-day free trial.

When to use it

Use IRDX Core when you already have an amp sim and IR loader you like and want speaker dynamics added. It is not an IR loader itself, unlike IRDX Studio, which loads and blends IRs with IRDX built in.

Best for: guitar and bass amp chains, from any amp sim.
