What it does
Blue Cat's Phaser is a free, analog-modelled phaser that replicates vintage phaser circuits digitally.
- Up to 32 stages: from a subtle phase shift to pushing the model to its limits.
- Controls: wet and feedback amounts, stereo spread, sine or triangle LFO, and in- or out-of-phase feedforward and feedback paths.
- Workflow: MIDI Learn and automation, smooth noiseless bypass, a preset manager and a zoomable interface; it stops processing on silence to save CPU.

When to use it
A capable free phaser, and the high stage count makes it more flexible than most freebies. For a specific vintage sound (Small Stone, Bi-Phase or Eventide-style), PhaseMistress (rated) or Instant Phaser Mk II are the better picks.
