BLEASS Phaser by BLEASS

BLEASS Phaser is a phasing effect for resonant swirls and atmospheric stereo sounds.

It runs as VST3, AU and AAX on Windows and macOS, for €19.99 (about $22.7).

Best for: Guitars, Keys & Synths, Sound Design. Genres: Electronic & EDM, Rock & Indie, Ambient & Cinematic.

Keywords: phaser, swirling, wide, classic, surgical, electric guitar, keys, simple, sound design, synths, AAX, AUv3/iOS, beginner-friendly, dark, mixing, tempo-synced, vocals.

What it does

BLEASS Phaser is described as "an all-encompassing phasing effect." Two LFOs drive it, one moving the notch frequencies and one moving their spread, so it covers classic sweeps as well as shifting, irregular notch patterns.

KVR lists version 1.3.0. A demo is available.

When to use it

BLEASS Phaser is a simpler, low-cost alternative to PhaseMistress, the rated phaser with many vintage styles, but its second LFO on the notch spread and its adjustable notch count let it go past a plain sweep into odd, evolving textures. It covers less ground than ShaperBox 3 and Portal, which handle much broader movement effects. It does not model specific vintage pedals, so it suits sound design more than recreating a classic unit.

What producers say

Users mostly praise the interface and presets; the main request is more modulation options.
