It is free on desktop (VST3, AU, AAX) and iOS.

Best for: Bass, Keys & Synths, Sound Design. Genres: Electronic & EDM, Hip-Hop & Trap, Pop.

Keywords: monophonic, arpeggiator, basses, free, leads, FM, sound design, AAX, aggressive, analog, AUv3/iOS, subtle, subtractive, surgical.

What it does

BLEASS Monolit is a free monophonic synth for "thunderous basses, searing leads, sparkling arpeggios and other-worldly SFX". It pairs the analog-style sound and ease of BLEASS Alpha with the FM sound design of BLEASS Omega, in one compact window.

It is free. A separate Basses preset pack is available.

When to use it

Monolit is a small, focused mono synth rather than a do-everything instrument. It has far less depth, wavetables and modulation than Vital, the rated free synth, and Serum 2 and Phase Plant go further still. Unlike Diva and Hive 2, it is not a full analog-style polysynth. Monolit's appeal is speed: two oscillators, FM, one filter and an arpeggiator on one screen, so a bass or lead comes together in minutes, for free.
