What it does
BM60 is Bettermaker's digital reverb, modelled on an 80s hardware unit and aimed at warm, lush spaces with very low CPU use.
- Algorithms: room and plate reverb, with a dynamic room simulation.
- Controls: Time, Length, Contour, Bass, Treble, Predelay, Monofier, Width and a Ducker.
- CPU: Bettermaker says it is light enough to use on many tracks at once.

When to use it
A budget-friendly reverb for adding a vintage digital sheen to vocals, drums and buses without heavy CPU load. The Ducker and Monofier make it easier to keep the reverb out of the way of the dry signal and the low end.
- Genres: pop, R&B, hip-hop, rock and anything that suits an 80s-style plate or room.
- Look elsewhere if: you want long, modulated or cinematic spaces; a dedicated algorithmic reverb will offer more variety.
