What it does
Smooth Operator Pro is a spectral balancer that finds and reduces frequency build-up and harsh resonances to clear up a mix.
- Dynamic suppression: works on individual frequency components with an adjustable threshold, and per-node settings.
- Stereo options: channel-specific or mid/side processing.
- Sidechain mode: rebalance a track against the frequency profile of another track.
- Extras: linear-phase processing and 184 presets by engineers including Craig Bauer and Max Jaeger.
- Version: v1.2 (October 2025); the original Smooth Operator stays available for existing users.

It works in the same territory as oeksound soothe3, the rated resonance suppressor: taming harshness and mud without static EQ cuts. Smooth Operator Pro adds a sidechain mode for carving one track around another.
