What it does

Texture is a granular reverb that AudioThing says can turn any sound into an ambient soundscape or add a drone feel to a track.

Granular reverb: with pitch shifting.
Mid/side mode: applies the granular effect to the stereo width while reducing the centre.
Presets with a randomizer, brightness and contrast controls, and a resizable window.

When to use it

Texture is for washy, pitched ambience rather than realistic space, so it complements a normal reverb instead of replacing it. Sending drums or vocals through it gives a drifting background layer.
