What it does
Crusher is a small bitcrusher with a multimode filter.
- Crusher: adjustable bit depth, downsampling and mix.
- Filter: lowpass, highpass, bandpass and notch, in 2-pole or 4-pole slopes.
- Harshness: a control taken from AudioThing's Reels plugin.
- Oversampling up to 16x, presets with a randomizer and a resizable window.

When to use it
Crusher is an inexpensive one-job plugin for lo-fi and digital grit. The built-in filter lets you tame the harsh top end without adding a separate EQ. For a deeper, more detailed bitcrusher, D16's Decimort 2 in the rated list is the step up.
