What it does
Space Strip is a six-module channel strip from AudioThing, aimed at adding depth and movement to sources such as synths and keys.
- Modules: Contour (2-band EQ), Vibe (stereo vibrato), Slapback (short echo), Ambience (short reverb), Ensemble (multi-voice chorus) and Stereo.
- Flexible order: drag and drop the modules to change the signal flow.
- Workflow: presets with a randomizer, parameter lock and a stereo correlation meter; the window is resizable.
- Low CPU use, so it can sit on many tracks.

When to use it
Space Strip is a quick way to make a dry keyboard or synth sound wider and more animated with one plugin instead of a chain of chorus, delay and reverb. It is a set of simple effects rather than a deep reverb or delay, so use it for fast results on keys, pads and electronic parts.
- Genres: synth-pop, ambient, electronic and retro keyboard sounds.
