What it does
Lines is a creative multi-effect and feedback synthesizer inspired by the 1970s Axel Line Simulator. It can process audio or generate sound on its own through internal feedback.
- Processing: frequency shifter, phase jitter and non-linear distortion, for lo-fi telephone tones, phasing and ring-mod-style effects.
- Filters: bandpass filters selected as "lines".
- Generation: pulse sequencer with host sync, feedback path with optional filter, and a noise generator with envelope.
- Extras: Trip modulation, oversampling and a preset randomizer.

When to use it
Lines goes well beyond chorus and phaser territory: it is closer to an experimental instrument than a modulation effect. Use it for rhythmic feedback textures, telephone-style filtering and sound design. For everyday chorus and phasing, look at the rated modulation plugins.
- Genres: experimental, electronic, ambient and sound design.
