Chorus Ensembler simulates the Boss CE-1 Chorus Ensemble, the mid-70s chorus and vibrato pedal.
It includes the preamp-only mode, input impedance control, tempo sync and stereo modes, for $49.

What it does
Chorus Ensembler is Audiority's "faithful simulation of the Boss CE-1", the mid-1970s chorus and vibrato pedal, built on BBD modeling.
- Chorus and vibrato: chorus intensity, plus vibrato rate and depth.
- Preamp mode: run only the preamp for its colour, or the full effect.
- Vintage Mode: a three-way selector with Classic, Mild and Clear settings.
- Input impedance: adjust how the input stage reacts to the source.
- Stereo: Classic or Full Stereo modes, with a stereo spread control.
- Studio extras: tempo sync, pre and post effect gain, mix and a resizable interface.
The current version is 1.1.2 (August 2025). A demo is available; in demo mode the plugin outputs 3 seconds of silence every minute.

When to use it
Chorus Ensembler gives the older CE-1 sound, with its vibrato and preamp colour, which suits guitars and electric pianos. Compared with TAL-Chorus-LX and Chorus JUN-6, which target the Juno synth chorus, it is a pedal emulation with a separate vibrato mode. Compared with TriceraChorus, it is a single vintage chorus rather than a modern tri-chorus for wide pads. The preamp-only mode also makes it usable as a light colour stage without any modulation.
- Best for: vintage chorus and vibrato on guitars, electric pianos and keys, and subtle preamp colour.
- Genres: rock, indie, pop and jazz.
- Look elsewhere if: you want a brighter 80s chorus; Audiority's Chief Chorus covers the CE-2, and TriceraChorus suits big modern widening.
