Inner Pitch is a pitch and formant shifter from Auburn Sounds, designed to sound natural first and to be pushed into sound design when you want.
Beyond plain shifting it does bass reinforcement, doubling, stereo widening through left/right pitch differences, and endlessly rising or falling effects. The free edition includes all of these.

What it does
Inner Pitch is Auburn Sounds' "highest-quality pitch changer." Its aim is to stay true to the source material, with heavier destruction available as an option.
- Pitch and formant: shift pitch and formants independently.
- Bass and doubling: reinforce bass with a dry/wet blend, or double a track.
- Stereo: widen a sound by giving the left and right channels different pitch amounts.
- Sound design: an internal delay limiter allows endlessly ascending or descending sounds; pitch shifting, distortion, a 3-band EQ and diffusion can all run inside the feedback loop.
- Full edition extras: more quality options to trade CPU against sound, plus vocal hard-tuning.

When to use it
Inner Pitch competes with Soundtoys Little AlterBoy, Eventide MicroPitch and Zynaptiq PITCHSHIFT. Choose it when you want clean, natural shifting with formant control and creative feedback effects at a low price, or a capable free version. Little AlterBoy is quicker for character vocal effects, and MicroPitch is the more focused choice for subtle detune widening.
- Best for: transposing vocals and instruments without artifacts, octave bass layers, doubling, and endless-rise effects.
- Genres: any style; useful in pop, electronic and ambient sound design.
- Look elsewhere if: you need low-latency pitch shifting for live tracking or full pitch correction; Auburn Sounds' own Graillon 3 covers correction.
- Standout: the in-loop delay that turns it into a shifting feedback effect for endless ascents and falls.
