A drum machine and beat-making studio that combines analog modelling, physical modelling and samples, with emulations of classic machines such as the TR-808, TR-909, LinnDrum and CR-78.

What it does
Spark 2 is Arturia's drum machine and beat creation studio, combining synthesised and sampled drums.
- Sound engines: TAE analog modelling, physical modelling and multi-layered samples.
- Content: over 1,900 instruments in 180+ kits, including TR-808, TR-909, TR-606, LinnDrum, CR-78, SDS-V and DMX emulations.
- Sequencing: 64-step sequencer with shuffle and automation, song mode, and MIDI/WAV export.
- Sound design: a modular editor with 30+ modules, sample and REX import, and studio effects.
It has NKS support.
When to use it
An all-in-one electronic drum machine with a big library of vintage machine sounds and a modular synth editor. It covers similar ground to DrumComputer and Battery 4, but its design dates from 2014, so newer tools are quicker to work with.
