What it does
Rev INTENSITY is an original Arturia algorithmic reverb built for creative effects, with modulation on nearly every parameter.
- Reverb: descriptively named controls, a built-in mod-chorus for thickening and a Freeze feature.
- Processing: soft clipping, plus pre and post multimode filters with resonance.
- Modulation: envelope follower (with sidechain), a programmable function generator and up to 13 destinations.
It is in FX Collection Pro.
When to use it
Rev INTENSITY is not modelled on a vintage unit, so it is for moving, rhythmic and abstract reverbs rather than realistic rooms. For a more traditional sound, Rev LX-24 or Rev PLATE-140 would be closer.
- Best for: pads, ambient textures, rhythmic gated reverbs, risers and sound design.
