What it does

Phaser BI-TRON models the Mu-Tron Bi-Phase guitar pedal, a dual phaser, with a few upgrades.

Two phasers: each with 12 stages (the original had 6 poles), its own bypass and dry/wet, and a reverse-stereo option.
Modulation: two independent LFOs with three waveforms each and tempo sync, plus an envelope follower and expression pedal control.
Routing: mono or stereo, series or parallel, with a 12 dB high-pass input filter.
Presets: 37.

It is included in FX Collection Pro.

When to use it

Phaser BI-TRON suits deep, layered phasing where two phasers move at different rates, rather than a single sweep. For a bigger phaser with more variations, Soundtoys PhaseMistress is rated in the same category.

Best for: guitars, electric piano, synths and drums.
Genres: funk, psychedelic rock, soul, ambient and electronic.
