When to use it

FX Collection is different from everything else in this category: it is a library of separate plugins, not one multi-effect you chain inside. Where Infiltrator 2 or Multipass let you build complex chains in one window, FX Collection gives you a full studio of individual processors, from bus compression to tape and spring reverb.

Best for: producers who want one purchase covering compression, EQ, saturation, modulation, reverb and delay, plus a few creative Efx tools.
Genres: all styles; the vintage emulations suit rock, pop and soul, and the Efx series and Pitch SHIFTER-910 suit electronic and ambient work.
Look elsewhere if: you want one plugin to sequence and chain effects (Infiltrator 2, Effectrix2), or you only need one or two of these; Efx AMBIENT and Efx FRAGMENTS are sold separately.

What producers say

Reviews focus on value and the new plugins.

Synthanatomy (2026) called it one of the best-value packages around, liked Efx AMBIENT for original sound design, but noted it isn't always CPU-efficient and that older plugins didn't get updates.
MusicRadar (2026 launch news) highlighted Efx AMBIENT's emotive textures and the "souped-up" H910-style harmonizer.
Sweetwater picked out Tape J-37's colour modes and Bus TRANSIENT's frequency-specific transient shaping.
