Efx REFRACT is a super-unison effect that duplicates a signal into up to 8 stereo voices, each optionally processed before recombination.

Controls: Refraction Amount for detuning and modulation, voice count, input high-pass and output low-pass filters, and an LFO with synced rates.
Five FX modes: Bandpass Filter, Comb Filter, Bitcrusher (4 distortion algorithms), Distortion and Harmonizer (12 chords).
Extras: 47 presets, a 3D interface, A/B comparison and a preset browser.

When to use it

Use it for thickening and widening like a chorus or ensemble, but with the option to take it into harmonised or metallic territory. It is more of a sound-design widener than a subtle chorus such as Chorus JUN-6.

Best for: synth pads, leads and vocals that need width and density.
Genres: electronic and ambient.
