What it does
Stages is Antelope Audio's simple room and hall reverb, built to be "easy to set up" with an "organic and natural sound." The developer says it does not emulate any specific hardware; the aim is convincing ambience with little effort.
- 12 spaces: preset environments from small rooms to large halls, including Castle, Concert Hall and Stadium.
- Quick switching: move between environments to audition spaces fast.
- Expert section: pre-delay, decay and delay controls for adjusting the chosen space.
- Low and High Cut: filters to keep mud and harshness out of the reverb.
- Few controls: the developer describes five adjustable parameters, aimed at "set it and forget it" use.
The current version is 1.0.0 and needs no Antelope hardware. KVR and the developer's pages do not state a separate demo.

When to use it
Stages is for fast, natural room and hall ambience when you don't want to tweak a reverb. Compared with VintageVerb or Pro-R 2 it has far fewer modes and less editing, but choosing one of 12 spaces and trimming a few controls is quicker. Compared with Valhalla Room, the rated natural-space specialist, it offers fewer controls but is simpler to set up. Unlike Springer, its sister plugin, it aims for realism rather than an obvious effect.
- Best for: quick room or hall ambience on vocals, drums and acoustic instruments.
- Genres: any.
- Look elsewhere if: you want deep editing or creative spaces; Pro-R 2, VintageVerb or Supermassive offer more.
What producers say
Feedback is thin so far, but the one user review is very positive.
- KVR users rate it 5 out of 5 from 1 review (June 2026), praising a mix reverb with "enough flavor to be noted, but without overdoing it" and all the essential controls.
- Criticisms: the same reviewer noted it lacks the distinctive character of more creative reverbs.
