When to use it

Punch is a simple, focused vocal compressor. It is less flexible than Antares' newer Vocal Compressor, which has four styles, dual-stage mode and AI Assist. Punch is quicker to set than rated all-rounders such as FabFilter Pro-C 3, though they offer far more control.

Best for: fast vocal levelling and adding presence.
Genres: pop, hip-hop and rock vocals.
