What it does

Poortec is a free equalizer inspired by the Pultec EQP-1A, with a simpler layout than the hardware.

Two bands: low-frequency boost below 500 Hz and a high-frequency shelf above 3 kHz.
Trimpot: a built-in gain control that also adds some distortion.
Version: 1.0.

When to use it

The most stripped-down of Analog Obsession's Pultec-style EQs. It lacks the extra controls of Rare and RareSE, including mid/side processing, so start here if you only need the classic low boost and high shelf. Suits mix-bus and full-mix tonal shaping in any genre.
