What it does

KONSOL emulates three mixing-console types, each with transformer, summing amp and a two-band EQ.

Models: tube (016), transistor (73 UK) and op-amp (Logic 4) styles.
Modes: Track and Bus, with a transformer on/off switch.
Controls: preamp gain 0 to 24 dB, output +/-24 dB, and British-style shelves at 100 Hz and 10 kHz (+/-6 dB).
Extras: optional 4x oversampling.

Version 3.0 is free from the developer's Patreon.

When to use it

A channel-by-channel console colour tool: put the Track mode on individual channels and the Bus mode on groups. It's simpler than Waves' Abbey Road or SSL-style console emulations because it has few controls, but that is the point.

Best for: adding subtle console glue and saturation across a whole mix.
