What it does

Frank is a free EQ that picks "the best frequencies from 4 different well-known modules".

Low cut: H-Type at 50 Hz.
Low band: P-Type boost/attenuation at 60 Hz.
Mid band: A-Type at 1.6 kHz.
High bands: N-Type high shelf at 12 kHz and a P-Type high attenuation at 20 kHz.
Extras: a custom line amp with gain compensation, 4x oversampling, touchscreen support and a resizable interface (50% to 200%).

When to use it

Frank has only a handful of fixed frequencies, so it is fast: you make broad moves and move on. It is a different idea from the rated Pultec or PuigTec collections, which model one classic unit. For extra preamp and compression, see Frank CS.
