What it does

DrGate is a free gate designed for drums.

GATE: sets the gate threshold.
HOLD: works as a normal hold but with a program-dependent release, from 10 ms to 1000 ms.
FILTER: a low-pass filter that works in reverse, running from 5 Hz to 500 Hz.
Blend and bypass: dry/wet blend and a bypass button.

The current version is 1.0.

DrGate is a simple tool for tightening drum tracks and cutting spill, with the blend control letting you gate gently instead of chopping hard.

Suits multi-miked drums, toms and snare tracks in rock and metal, or noisy DI sources.
