Ample Guitar L is Ample Sound's classical, nylon-string guitar, sampled from an Alhambra Luthier Classic. The developer's aim is "a Alhambra Luthier Classic Guitar sound" in your studio, played from MIDI with tools that think in guitar terms.

When to use it

Ample Guitar L sits among the playable, MIDI-driven guitars rather than the loop-based ones. It is soft, nylon and acoustic, unlike Heavier7Strings (Three-Body Technology), the rated guitar instrument on the site, which is built for seven-string metal. Compared with Tonalic (Celemony, rated), which takes another route, playing recorded human performances that follow your chords, it is slower but gives more note-level control. Its closest rival in approach is MusicLab RealGuitar, and it shares its engine with Ample's own Guitar M and T, which cover steel strings. Pick Guitar L when you want to write or import exact parts note by note and the part has to be nylon.

What producers say

The little feedback there is on this edition is very positive, mostly about the realism of the tone.
