What it does

Jura Chorus takes the chorus from AIR's Jura synth, itself modelled on the Roland Juno-60, and makes it a standalone effect. The developer pitches it as a quick way to add "warmth and width and that 80s vibe" to synths, guitars, bass and vocals.

Chorus I: the subtler of the two modes, for gentle movement and width.
Chorus II: deeper modulation and a wider stereo image.
I and II together: both modes at once, for the bigger stereo spread and instability associated with the Juno sound.
Mix: blends the dry and chorused signal, from a light touch to a fully wet effect.
Noise switch: adds the noise of the original unit, or leaves it out for a clean chorus.
MPC support: runs in MPC and Force standalone and in MPC desktop.

A 10-day demo is available. AIR gave it away free until August 2, 2026, which is why KVR marks it free for a limited time.

When to use it

Jura Chorus is a simple, cheap Juno-style chorus with only three mode buttons, a mix control and a noise switch, which makes it quick to use and one of the few that runs on MPC hardware. Compared with Arturia's Chorus JUN-6 and TAL-Chorus-LX, it covers the same Juno I, II and I+II modes but has no rate, depth or width controls of its own beyond the mode buttons and mix. TAL-Chorus-LX does the same job for free. Against TriceraChorus it is far less flexible, with no tri-chorus, vibrato or modulation shaping.

Best for: Juno-style width on pads, analog-style synth patches, guitars and bass, especially for MPC users.
Genres: synth-pop, synthwave, electronic, indie and lo-fi.
Look elsewhere if: you want a free Juno chorus (TAL-Chorus-LX), more control over the modulation (Chorus JUN-6), or a more flexible chorus (TriceraChorus).
Tip: try it on acoustic guitars and other non-synth sources; Bedroom Producers Blog found it gives "pretty cool warped chorus effects" there.

The few write-ups found see it as a faithful, no-fuss Juno chorus; none raised real criticisms.

Bedroom Producers Blog (2026) found it straightforward and in need of little tweaking, noting that both modes together give the Juno's "bigger stereo spread and instability", and liked the noise modelling.
Bobby Owsinski's blog (2023) called it a faithful reproduction of the Roland chorus rather than a "watered down" imitation, and useful on synths, guitars and bass.
