What it does
Latte is Acustica Audio's mastering suite of five plugins based on a series of handcrafted German modular mastering units. Acustica's aim is to bring "the warmth, depth, and precision of high-end analog hardware" into a digital mastering workflow.
- Latte Stereo EQ Ultra: the main mastering EQ, with four parametric bands built on the Wien-Robinson bridge principle and passive-style curves; it comes with factory presets.
- Latte EQ: a dual-mono equalizer with four fully parametric bands plus high-pass and low-pass filters.
- Latte Dyn: a mastering compander that combines compression and expansion (decompression) in one unit.
- Latte Multiband Dyn: a four-band dynamics processor for more targeted dynamic shaping.
- Latte Filters: a tone-shaping and harmonic tool with a Niveau tilt filter and a Baxandall EQ with a 9 dB/oct slope.
- Monitoring: Delta, LR, Mid and Side listening modes.
- Hyper technology: Acustica's newer engine, aimed at lower CPU use than older Acqua plugins.
It launched in March 2025 with an introductory price. The product page did not give a version or trial details.

When to use it
Latte is a colored mastering kit rather than a single EQ: one consistent German modular sound across EQ, tone filters, compander and multiband dynamics. Compared with the Manley Massive Passive EQ, it has a more modular layout and adds its own dynamics, but it has fewer bands per EQ. Compared with Pro-Q 4 or TDR Nova, it trades surgical precision, unlimited bands and spectrum display for analog-style curves and character. Its Niveau and Baxandall filters cover broad tilts that you would otherwise do with a separate tone tool.
- Best for: broad, colored mastering EQ, gentle tilts and companding on the stereo bus.
- Genres: any.
- Look elsewhere if: you want transparent, surgical digital EQ (Pro-Q 4), free dynamic EQ (TDR Nova) or a classic passive mastering EQ (Manley Massive Passive).
