DialogueEnhance
by Accentize · Restoration · Automatic speech processor
Not rated yet
A four-in-one speech plugin that combines noise reduction, automatic EQ, automatic compression and a LUFS loudness boost.
In Automatic Mode it sets its own EQ, compression and level parameters, so podcasters and video editors get cleaner speech with few adjustments.
Best for: Vocals. Genres: all genres.
Keywords: dialogue, podcast, repair, metering, vocals, clean, corrective, spectral.
What it does
DialogueEnhance is "an intelligent automatic speech processing tool" for improving voice recordings without adjusting many parameters. Accentize aims it at podcast and video editors.
- Noise reduction: estimates noise in real time; the algorithm is similar to the one in Accentize's earlier VoiceGate.
- Spectral correction: an EQ module that finds resonances and imbalances, with frequencies and gains set automatically in Automatic Mode.
- Dynamics: an automatic compressor that evens out fast level changes.
- Loudness boost: lifts the signal to a chosen target LUFS and can balance level changes over time.
It works at 44.1 to 192 kHz in mono and stereo, with a free trial.

When to use it
DialogueEnhance is the lighter, cheaper choice when a recording is already decent and just needs cleanup, tone and level in one pass. Compared with Accentize's own dxRevive Pro, which rebuilds damaged speech, Waves Clarity Vx, which focuses on noise removal, and McDSP's SA-2 Dialog Processor, a manual dialogue EQ, it covers cleanup, tone and level together.
- Best for: podcasts, YouTube voice-overs, interviews and video edits in Premiere, Final Cut or Resolve.
- Genres: spoken word and post-production.
- Look elsewhere if: the recording is badly damaged or muffled; it does not restore missing frequency content.
- Standout: automatic EQ, compression and LUFS targeting in one plugin with low CPU and latency.
What producers say
Reviewers see it as an efficient everyday dialogue tool rather than a restoration tool.
- Production Expert (2024) Paul Maunder said it "is best suited to everyday dialogue processing" and uses less CPU and delay than dxRevive.
- Gripe: he noted it "doesn't restore missing frequency content like dxRevive does."
